Ginkakuji Temple (also known as the Silver Pavillion)
Philosopher’s path (a famous sakura viewing spot along a small river)

- Starting Point
The tour begins at your accommodation in Kyoto, which you indicate to us during the reservation. If you are coming from Osaka or Tokyo, your guide can wait for you at Kyoto Station.
- Departure Time
Full day tours: 9:00 a.m. Half-day tours: 9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. (flexible start times available upon request).
- Tour Duration
Full day: ~8 hours Half day: ~4 hours (select this option in the booking form for a reduced price).
- Transport
We will use public transportation such as buses, trains or taxis (rates not included; also covers the guide’s transportation).
- Meals
Your guide will suggest places to have lunch or a snack (cost not included). For full-day tours, we ask that you cover your guide’s lunch.
- Other Expenses
Entrance fees to temples and gardens are not included, but are usually inexpensive.
- Return
We will return to the starting point around 5:00 p.m.
- Prices
The price is the same for the entire group (1 to 6 people), with no charges per person.
